Default People of Tyria I ask you!

Now pull up a chair as I share a tale of old,
A man once created a necromancer, intending of making it last until max survivor, foolishly he let it die on a shing jea quest at level 6.

After starting a new character, he successfully got her to level 20 and tier one survivor, (not to mention capping some attractive elites, and doing quite a bit of storyline). He tried this new fangled dwarven boxing (because its all he rage for survivors) But unfortunately, due to his lack of concentration, the character was felled my a angry dwarf.

After much soul seeking and thinking, he decided to banish that character and, start anew(which he greatly regretted). On this character he went strait to the north for boxing without capping any elites or questing for experience. She got tier 1 with ease and was well on her way to 2 until a fatal error made by her master (damn you resizing window!) she did not get up in time.

The man had spent well over 20k on both of these characters,

The question is ladies and gents is should I start another survivor character?

He dont feel like spending more money pimping out a character just to have it fail.

Thanking you in advance,

Puzzled man.

Going from level 1-10 and then getting to Gunnar's Hold doesn't require any gold to be spent. If you want to get LS in under 20hours, then go for it. Its up to you. Just be more careful.

O_o.
You really want to have a survivor.
I say, if you still have the will, do it again. But this time, take your time, do it carefully... and don't bother wasting too much money on them IF you are going to delete him(her) if he(she) dies.

I don't think the dwarves will take kindly to my AL 5 armour in the dungeon.(unless they do the same dmg regardless?)

Yes thats what I tried for my third attempt. Thanks for the advice

@Thorondor Port- Thank you! Yes I realise i'm probably not the best suited for LS :P

I think I shall make it a fourth time and if it doesn't work out I'll just keep her as my necro.(tier 1 or 2 ain't so bad)

Quite honestly, I always liked having more than 1,000 deaths on a character.

In your case, you can always try again until you sick and tired of it all.

They do the same damage regardless of your armor.

I say if you still want survivor bad enough, go for it. Like the others said though, don't spend that much.

that depends....I have tried a few times to get survivor on my characters, instead of deleting ones that failed I bought another slot and made a new character. I have gotten 3 characters to level 1 (none of the dwarven stuff or scrolls, just plain ole questing etc). One of those I want to get to level 3---so I rarely play her, I plan to kill the wurms outside of boreal station with her to get her to level 3, now the other one I am hoping will make it to level 2 but I am not treating her with kid gloves (though I wont do viznuah square with her)...
so it depends on how badly you want a leg. survivor. I want to get one on my account, though it will probably take me the better part of the next year to do it. (slowly killing wurms at 12xp a wurm.....I have the patience of a saint-or the stubornness of a bulldog)
